A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Ga Hwy 118, Leslie, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Eddie Mack Stewart was born January 13, 1954, to the late Ed Stewart and the late Elean Hubbard Stewart in Sumter County, Georgia. He is preceded is death by one sister, Alice Stewart. He was educated in the public school system of Sumter County. He acquired his high school education from the historic Union High School of DeSoto, Georgia. Eddie was employed with Turner Enterprises since 1987 and he later became manager until his demise. Eddie joined the band of Christian believers at Living Word Christian Ministries, Ellaville, Georgia.
Survivors include three children Fredrick L. Stewart, Atlanta, Georgia, Eddie M. Stewart Jr., Columbia, South Carolina, and Kyle Moore, Ellaville, Georgia. Five grandchildren, Olivia Stewart, Devin Stewart, Genesis Stewart, Logan Moore, Jasmine Stewart. Four siblings, Charlie Stewart (Annie), Calvin Stewart, Barbara Stewart all of Leslie, Georgia and Eddie D. Stewart (Rev. Diana), Atlanta, Georgia. A host of other relatives and friends including Charles Harris, Vicki Rush, Michael Rush, the entire family of Turner Enterprises and devoted friend Myra Moore.
