Eddie D. Rogers, Jr. was born May 23, 1973 to the late Eddie D. Rogers Sr., and Delois Rogers in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. Eddie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 11, formally gave his life to Christ through baptism at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia. Eddie loved God and was a prolific researcher of Christianity and Judaism throughout his life. He graduated from Alan C. Pope High School in 1992. After working with his father for several years, he joined the Unites States Army in 1994. Following his discharge from the military, Eddie re-joined his father in running QHI Company, a home improvement company started by Eddie Sr. Eventually, Eddie Jr. ventured into his own entrepreneurial pursuits including another home improvement business and two companies he created: Nash Platinum, LLC and Bulldog Trader TV, LLC.
A creative at heart, he loved to draw, write and listen to a wide array of music. Eddie was a man of ideas. When he wasn’t making plans for his businesses, he was philosophizing with friends and family on spirituality, politics, business, etc. He believed in helping people and did so with a dedication and loyalty that echoed his true heart. In spite of the personal toll and the sacrifices he had to make, Eddie committed himself to helping to care for his late maternal grandmother, Quincy Hicks, and his late father, Eddie Rogers, Sr., during their end-of-life transitions.
Eddie was a loving father to his beloved daughter, Jada Rogers. On January 25, 2019, he was joined in holy matrimony to Stephanie Chikwendu.
