Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Road, Ellaville, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Dianne King Warren was born October 31, 1954 to the late Catherine Minter King and the late James King in Ellaville, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Warren; two brothers, Ben King Sr., and Henry James King. She was educated in the public school system of Schley County where she attended John Lewis High School. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She enjoyed attending church at Quebec Baptist Church. Dianne was employed at Ellaville Wash House and also worked as a cook at a local restaurant.
She leaves her memories: three children, Fay King, Lithonia, Georgia, Ericka Warren, Americus, Georgia, Tyrone Warren, Americus, Georgia; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five sisters, Viola King, Americus, Georgia, Gail King, Lithonia, Georgia, Linda King, Lithonia, Georgia, Leslie Froster, Americus, Annie Stroud, Columbus, Georgia; three brothers, Ronnie King (Vivian) Ellaville, Georgia, David King Ellaville, Georgia, Tony King, Jacksonville, Florida; an aunt, Myrtice McClendon, Brooklyn, New York; uncle, Mike Minter, Atlanta, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends including a devoted friend, Lee Willie Meadows.
