Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Lebanon Cemetery, Travelers Home Church Road, Ideal, Georgia. The Reverend Carl Munns will officiate.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Cynthia was born July 3, 1964 to Ilene Raines and the late John Harmon in Macon County, Georgia. She acquired her education in the public school system of Macon County whereas she was a 1982 graduate of D. F. Douglass High School. She continued to pursue her education at the following schools: Phillip Community College, Arkansas University majoring in Travel and Tourism, Kaplan University, receiving a certification in Social Services and Galileo Institution receiving a certification in Technical Analyst. Cynthia enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and other countries. Her travels were fun and educational.
Survivors include: her beloved mother, Ilene Raines, Ideal, Georgia; Her siblings, Steve Raines, Milledgeville, Georgia Timothy Raines Ellenwood, Georgia, Eric Raines,(Tawanna) Ideal, Georgia, Wayne (Shai) Harmon, Terrence Montgomery and N’Jeri Montgomery all from the Atlanta, Georgia area. Aunts and uncles include, Eloise Raines, Ideal, Georgia, Ona Harmon, Josie Harmon Green, Agnes Crawford, Clinton (Geneva) Harmon, Mack Harmon, Willie Harmon and Jimmie Harmon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
