The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017 at William Grove Baptist Church, 71 Gill Street, Ellaville, Georgia. The Reverend Michael Edge, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Hill A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Will Spivey Street, Ellaville, Georgia.
Curtis was born September 10, 1965 in Americus, Georgia to Mary Dean Williams and the late Morris Williams. He was educated in the public school system of Marion County. He was a 1984 graduate of Tri-County School in Buena Vista, Georgia. For 15 years, he was employed with Davidson Rubber Company of Americus, Georgia. Following retirement from Davidson, he was employed at T.C.I. as a Mixer. Curtis was a handworker and took pride in his work. He was a record setter while working at T.C.I.; he received the Bounding Certificate for bounding 11,220 pounds in 8 hours 17 batches.
He was united in holy matrimony to Patricia Mack in 1997, and to this union they were blessed with five children and fifteen grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memories a beloved wife of 20 years, Patricia Williams, Ellaville, Georgia; five children, Latrice Ramsey (Jason), Columbus, Georgia, Kadrick Williams (Marquita), Ellaville, Georgia, Karrell Deon Williams (Cassandra), Preston, Georgia, Markeia Myrick, Americus, Georgia, Jasmine Kearse (DeAngelo, Sr.), Americus, Georgia; mother, Mary Dean Williams, Americus, Georgia; 15 grandchildren, Lacey Ramsey, Lauryn Ramsey, X’avier Williams, Markadrick Williams, Morrison Williams, Kendrick Williams, Bryce Williams, Jarel Deon Williams, K’ylia Williams, Josiah Williams, Makenzie Cromer, Aaron Mitchell Jr., Ashton Mitchell, DeAngelo Kearse Jr., Jaidence Kearse; uncle, Ernest Smith, Hartford, Connecticut; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Josephine Johnson, Lewis Mack Sr. (Catherine), both of Americus, Georgia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Timothy Mack (Sofornia), Birmingham, Alabama, Barbara Smith (Joe), Edgar Resse, Jr., Latrinda Asberry (Willie), Demarcus Reese, Lewis Mack, Jr., all of Americus, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
