It's has almost been a year now, I'm missing you more than ever. But I know you are in a better place, but sometimes I get selfish and wish you were still here to answer questions and give advice.

I miss you Daddy.

Pawpaw, it's coming up to seven years without being able to hear your laugh, hear you call grandma's name, or even just give you a hug. I try not to think of you as often as I want to because it still hurts so bad that you aren't here. Going to the grave site makes it a reality and I still don't want to accept it. Isaiah misses you more than you know. I hate this month because this is when you left us. I know you are in a better place but I want you back here with me. I hope I'm making you proud. I still love you so much and I always will!!! Continue to Rest In Paradise! #yourhappy

I want so desperately to hear your voice, your laugh, feel your hugs. Ever since you left this has always been a very difficult month for me. I know that you are in a better place watching over all of us but it's just not the same without you physically being here. I wish you could've gotten the chance to meet Natalie and AJ. There are so many things I want to talk to you about. I will love you forever and always pawpaw!!!

Pawpaw, I know that you and grandma are together. I've seen it but it makes it more difficult because I don't have either one of you here with me on this side. I am trying to stay strong because I know that's what y'all raised me to do but words can't describe how hard it is. I am now beginning to see people for who they really are because you, grandma, mama, and daddy protected me and bug from that. And I can honestly say I don't like it. I know that you and grandma raised them to be better than what they are but from what I've seen and experienced these last few months I know you wouldn't go for it. I miss the days I would sit between you and grandma and just be at peace. My heart is broken and I am trying to heal but it hurts so bad. I miss y'all so much. You would be very proud of the young man that Ike has become. Daddy has done an outstanding job and I am forever grateful to him for that. Until next time pawpaw. I love you and grandma with every piece of my heart! Forever your happy!!!
