
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Preston Williams Family Center, Carl Peaster Boulevard, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Champ Waters Cemetery, Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.
Charles Leonard Hudson, Sr., was born August 7, 1954 in Midland, Pennsylvania to the late Harvey Hudson, Sr. and Bertha Tookes Hudson. He was reared by his beloved grandmother the late Eler Tookes. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Harvey Hudson, Jr., Archie Curtis Hudson, Irene Hudson Wiggins and Marjorie Williams. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angel Lanette Hudson. He was a 1975 graduate of Macon County High School. He acquired his Christian training in the family church of Antioch Baptist Church. After many years of dedicated services he retired from the Blue Bird Body Company of Ft. Valley, Georgia as a line technician.
He was united in holy matrimony to the late Belinda Brown Hudson, October 7, 1977 and to this union they were blessed with two children, Charles Leonard, Jr. and Felisha Denise.
Survivor are three loving and devoted children, Charles Leonard, Jr. (Sharonda), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Felisha Denise Hudson, Perry, Georgia and Lamesha Hill, Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren; six siblings, Mary Emma Wallace (Newray), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Maxine Range (Melvin), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Albert “Billy” Hudson, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Gloria Meadows (Roosevelt), Ideal, Georgia, Ernestine Livingston, Montezuma, Georgia, and Minister Allen Hudson (Patricia), Albany, Georgia. His brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Debra Ann Williams (Jerome), Dorothy Brown, both of Montezuma, Georgia, James Brown (Angela), Macon, Georgia, Anthony Brown (Jackie), Atlanta, Georgia, Angela Brown, Joel Brown (Paula) all of Montezuma, Georgia, Jackie Brown (Betty), Johnnie Brown all of Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Brown (Marion), Phoenix, Arizona and Phillip Brown, Miami, Florida; aunts, Lula Pearl Hudson, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Dorothy Haynes, Ellaville, Georgia and Eunice Hudson, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends including one devoted, Mattie Raines.
