The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 1, 2015, Inspirational Church By Faith, 714 Adderton Street, Americus, Georgia, Elder Larry Taylor, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 26, Leslie, Georgia.
Mrs. Ceolia T. Roberts was born in Webster County on December 29, 1933 to the parents of the late Mr. Stout Taylor and the late Mrs. Celia Shelton Taylor.
She received her education in Webster County school system. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John W. Roberts; a son Nickey Roberts; seven sisters, Mrs. Elma Culliver, Mrs. Thelma Hurley, Mrs. Georgia Lee Broner, Mrs. Rossie Lee Young, Mrs. Essie Johnson, Mrs. Annie Colbert, Mrs. Tommie Brown; and one brother Bishop John T. Taylor.
She leaves to mourn her passing: a daughter, Mrs. Julia Lynn (Thomas) Reagan; three grandsons, Mr. James Terell (Michelle) Davis, LaKendrick Tovoski (Keia) Taylor, Mr. Tovaris Davis (Jay Williams); one aunt Lois Shelton; three sisters, Mrs. Liille Mae Cladd, Mrs. Lady B. Sims, Mrs. Elnora Girvin, five sisters–in-law, Mrs. Lois Taylor, Mrs. Lois McWhorter, Mrs. Daisy Miller, Mrs. Ozene Laster, Mrs. Carylon Roberts; four brothers-in-law, Mr. Cooper Roberts, Mr. Charles Roberts, Mr. James Roberts, and Mr. Alex Brown; 15 devoted great grandchildren, Kell, Kierra, Tierra, Te’ Yunda, Jamari, Peaches, T.J., NyNa, Carter, Kya, Asia, and Jordon; her special helpers, Zierra Davis, James, J.D., Davis, Parrish; one devoted niece, Shirley Cook; a devoted stepdaughter Donna Cladd; devoted nephews, Jeffery Roberts, Terell Roberts, Johnnie B. Thomas, Javin Dee, Jamaica Colbert, Jamica Baisden, NiNI; a very devoted friend of the family, Theresa Robinson, other relatives, and friends.
