The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Davis Chapel A.M.E. Church, Georgia Highway 26 West, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Interment followed in the Church cemetery.
Cary formerly from Americus, Georgia was born March 12, 1969 to Mamie Ann Frederick and the late Aldean Brooks. He was educated in the public school system of Sumter County. He was a truck driver by trade. He was formerly employed with Sumter Soil of Americus, Georgia, Toyland Trucking Company of Atlanta, Georgia and Charles Brown Trucking Company, Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Polly Mae Harris Frederick and Ollie Mae Brooks.
Survivors are his mother, Mamie Ann Frederick, Americus, Georgia; grandfather, Marvin Brooks, Oglethorpe, Georgia; son, Tristan Johnson, Oglethorpe, Georgia; nine brothers and their spouses, Timothy Frederick (Canyon), Andersonville, Georgia, Gregory Frederick, Waco, Texas, Keith Frederick (Pamela), Americus, Georgia, Al Brooks, Decatur, Georgia, Aldean Clark (Sakema), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Eric Hughey, Ideal, Georgia, Eric Brooks, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Andre Bailey (Dianne) and Adrian Brooks, Oglethorpe, Georgia; two sisters and their spouse, Tammy Watts, Americus, Georgia and Cathy Carter (Johnny), Conyers, Georgia; god brothers, Kendrick and Kennedy Hurley; aunts, Mary Rogers, Ellaville, Georgia, Lucille Grover (Thomas), Oglethorpe, Georgia and Bessie Frederick, Miami, Florida; uncles, Leroy Frederick, Andersonville, Thomas Frederick and Emanuel Frederick, Miami, Florida; god aunts, Phyllis Harris, Americus, Georgia, Grome Grant (Leon), Ash, North Carolina and Brenda Harris, College Park, Georgia; great aunts, Fozie Harris, Atlanta, Georgia and Catherine Harris, Raleigh, North Carolina; a host of beloved nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
