Carnell Loman, age 67, citizen of Orlando, Florida passed Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Orlando Health Center, Orlando, Florida.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church, Georgia Highway 26 East, Montezuma, Georgia. The Reverend Alan Waters, pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Carnell Loman was born January 24, 1948 to Millie Mae Thomas and the late Thomas James “Pete” Loman in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia. Carnell was preceded in death by three siblings, Thomas James Loman, Helen Loman Harrison and Ruby Loman Hall. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. He was a 1966 graduate of the Historic D. F. Douglass High School. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Carnell was married to the former late Dorothy Rose Beal Loman. To this union, they were blessed with three children.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Sharnell, Damon and Sharmaine Loman, all of Orlando, Florida; his mother, Millie Mae Green, Atlanta, Georgia; siblings, Shelton Loman (Willene), Montezuma, Georgia, Judy Gable (Clarence), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Michael Green (Sherrie), William Green (Beverly), Bonnie Green, all of Atlanta, Georgia; Ruby Lee Wade, St. Petersburg, Florida, Peggy Sneed, Montezuma, Georgia and Jeanette Harris (Leon), Atlanta, Georgia; brothers-in-law / sisters-in-law, Herbert Hall, Sr., Oglethorpe, Georgia, Bobby Harrison, Millard Beal (Jannie) , Annie Lou Smith, Obie Beal (Brenda), Robert Beal, Raymond Beal, all of Montezuma, Georgia and Tommy Beal (Cynthia), Byron; aunt, Dorothy Thomas, Montezuma, Georgia; mother-in-law, Dorothy Inez Beal, Montezuma, Georgia; three devoted nieces and their spouses, Kimberly Nelson (Cedric), Warner Robins, Georgia, Sharon Gary (Jimmy), Oglethorpe, Georgia and Ronda Dixon (Leon), Buena Vista, Georgia; other nieces and nephews, Herbert Hall, Jr., Oglethorpe, Georgia, Archie Simpson, Ohio; first cousins, Jackie Felton (Damon), Clarence Thomas, Barbara Ann Palmer (Bruce), all of Montezuma, Georgia; great nieces and great nephews, Jasmine Stalnakor, Warner Robins, Georgia, Oneisha Gary, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jimmy Gary, Jr., Fort Valley, Georgia, Xavier Dixon , Kenon Dixon, both of U S Army and Crystal Hall, Macon, Georgia and three other nieces, Atlanta, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
