Carl Joseph McKellar, affectionately known as “Juixeman” to many, passed on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the age of 30.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Magnolia Baptist Church, 415 Hosie Waters Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow at the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Carl Joseph McKellar was born August 1, 1992, at Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus, Georgia; he attended school in Macon County, Georgia; during his time here on earth he was employed by Bluebird, Perdue Farms and Fresh Realms. Carl “Juixeman” enjoyed listening to music, spinning the block and spending quality time with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Shirley Westberry, Charles McKellar and two aunts Tadra McKellar–Smith and Patricia Dowdell.
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, he departed this earth for his eternal and heavenly home. A precious soul has been set free. His jokes, his voice we all will miss. There’s an empty space in our hearts that can never be filled.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother: Eleanor Carter (Al-Drick Carter) Byromville, GA; Carl Westberry (Danyell Lester) Unadilla, GA; his grandmother: Barbara McKellar (James Troutman) Montezuma, GA; his four precious children: Sienna McKellar, Ayden Clark, Kingston McKellar and Blessing Unique Young. His siblings; Priscilla (Desi), Jessica, Veronica (Jason) All of Montezuma, GA; Justice Holmes, Carzareous and Carlil Westberry of Unadilla, GA; Reshard Harris of Atlanta, GA; David Wiggin Lilly, GA; and Carzavious Fields of Pinehurst, GA; his aunts and uncles: Albert, Irene, Bernice, Willie, Genesis, Matthew, Mack, Latasha, Betty Ann, Morranda and Samuel. A devoted Aunt Charlene McKellar, A devoted Uncle Charles McKellar, loving devoted cousins: Nickey, Erica, Malexis, Eric Felton Jr., Donkira, Charlique, Anthony, Antonio and Charnesha. A best friend more like a brother Marcus Hannor and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
