Mr. Calvin Perry, age 68, 224 East Burkhalter Street, Buena Vista, Georgia passed Friday, October 3, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, Americus, Georgia.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Josh Gibson Center, Rogers Street, Buena Vista, Georgia. Reverend Dr. Tabatha Walton will officiate. Interment will follow in the Buena Vista City Cemetery, Oliver Street, Buena Vista, Georgia.
Mr. Perry was born January 1, 1946 in Buena Vista, Marion County, Georgia to Della Perry Battle. He was educated in the public school system of Marion County. He was united in holy matrimony to Betty Williams, and, to this union, they were blessed with one daughter and one granddaughter.
Survivors are a beloved mother, Della Perry Battle, Brooklyn, New York; one daughter, Michelle Shamell (Darryl), Upland, California; and one granddaughter, Londyn Miller, Pullman, Washington; and a host of loving, caring, and committed family and friends.
