
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 16, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church, 1298 Chokee Road, Desoto, Georgia. Burial will take place in the Church cemetery.
Brownie Mae Wright Frazier was born on July 15, 1948 to the parents of the late Samson and Margaret Brown Wright of Desoto, Georgia. She was the 2nd oldest child out of 10 children and shortest and smallest.
Brownie received her education from the Lee and Sumter Counties School System and was a 1966 graduate from Sumter High. Brownie continued her education at Albany Tech where she received a certified certificate in Nursing. She later joined the Job Corp for 2 years.
She was a baptized born again believer and member of the Antioch Baptist Church where she served on the usher board and sang in the choir. She loved her home church. Brownie also attended the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Roswell, Georgia until health failed. She had weekly bible study with friends. She also worked at several sewing factories and was a great home seamstress for her mom and many other people in the community. Brownie also was a jewelry maker until her health failed. She loved her grandson to the max, and her gardening and her plants.
On Sunday, September 9, 2018 about 2:15 p.m., she quietly slipped away to be with her Heaven Father. In addition to her father, (Sam, Sr.) she is also preceded in death by sister (Hattie Ball) and 2 lovely brothers (Sam Jr. and Frankie).
Memories still linger on with Melissa Frazier, daughter, grandson Jayden, Roswell, Ga., Margaret Wright, mother, brothers George, Leodus, and Kenneth Wright Desoto, Ga., Ulysses (Elizabeth) Wright Americus, Ga., sisters, Martha McGhee, Leslie, Ga., Bonnie Williams, Desoto, Ga., Evonne (Wayne) Antwine, Stone Mountain, Ga., Annie J. Wright, sister- in-law L.C. Ball, brother- in –law, Desoto. GA., cousin/brother, Charles (Priscilla) Ross (Priscilla), Decatur, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins an many many friends every where.
