
A wake service will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018, Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, GA Hwy 27 Packing House Road, Americus, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Dozier Road, Ellaville, Georgia.

A Time to be Born
Brother Jeffery Dennis Ferguson was born on December 8, 1961 to the late Deacon James Roy Ferguson and late Sister Susie Bell Bridges Ferguson in Dawson, Terrell County, Georgia.
A Time To Learn
Jeffery attended the public school system of Terrell County, Georgia. Jeffery completed his education in Job Corps at Morgantown, Kentucky and Albany, Georgia, currently Turner Job Corps, where he received a diploma in Carpentry.
During his lifetime Jeffery became associated with the Jehovah Witnesses until his untimely death. Jeffery was a strong believer in our God Jehovah and every chance he got he would witness about him.
Time to Love
Jeffery was united in holy matrimony to his surviving loving wife Barbara Clark Ferguson in Ellaville, Georgia on July 14, 2004. To this union and love, one son Jerdavious Derell Ferguson was born. Jeffery also took upon raising his loving wife son, Eric, as his own. Jeffery loved children he touched the lives of many children, especially Reginald Green and Quincy Vanover.
And a Time to Rest
Jeffery was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 5, 2018 and answered his call to glory peacefully at his home. In addition to his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law, Jeffery was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jeffery leaves a legacy of love to his loving wife, Barbara Clark Ferguson, Ellaville, Georgia; two sons Jerdavious Derell Ferguson (Erica Brown), Perry, Georgia and Eric Bernard Clark, Sr. (Tiffany Sutton), Americus, Georgia; six grandchildren, Deria, Eric Jr., Chandler, and Eriel Clark, all of Ellaville, Georgia, Erin Lester and expected grandson Jaiden J’Amir Ferguson, all of Perry, Georgia; three sisters, Susan Walton (Ronnie) Dawson, Georgia, twin sister Jessica Denise Randall, Albany, Georgia, Lavonda Ferguson Brown, Hawkinsville, Georgia; one brother, Deacon Leon Ferguson (Tammy), Dawson, Georgia, eight aunts, seven uncles, and a host nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowful friends.
