Brenda Payne Bryant, age 53, 374 King Road, Ellaville, Georgia passed Monday morning, December 8, 2014 at the Phoebe Sumter Hospital, Americus, Georgia.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Shiloh Road, Ellaville, Georgia, where Reverend Lem Wright is pastor. Elder James Montgomery will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Church Road, Ellaville, Georgia.
Brenda was born December 7, 1961 in Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida to Patricia Jean Solomon and the late David Lee Payne. She was educated in the public school system of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she acquired her GED.
The family moved to Ellaville, Georgia in 1975. She was employed with Davison Textron as a fork lift operator until the plant closed.
She was the beloved mother of two daughters, Jocinda Brenee Blunt, Americus, Georgia, and Sharonda Lynnee Payne, Ellaville, Georgia; five grandchildren Ty’Sheannia Sumlin, Dy’Mond King, Ja’Cobi Brown, Da’Ryis Payne and Willie Black, III; a loving and devoted mother, Patricia Jean Solomon, Ellaville, Georgia; three siblings, Zeb Thomas Solomon, Sophia Boykin (Terrell), and Joan Denise Solomon, all of Ellaville, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Mary Morrison, Oakland Park, Florida, Johnnie Solomon, Ruby Solomon, both of Ellaville, Georgia, Bobby Gainey (Sylvester) Dublin, Georgia, Linda Murray, Ellis Thornton, Jr. (Gwendolyn), and Nathaniel Thornton, Sr. (Shearlean), all of Ellaville, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
