Brenda was affectionately known as “Bren” by her family and friends. She was born December 8, 1952 to the late General Phelps, Jr., and the late Rose Lee Barnes.
She attended Lamson Richardson School in Marshallville, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Grace Awakening House of Prayer in Columbus, Georgia. She was employed with Enrichment Services in Columbus, Georgia. She was passionate about people, sewing, cooking and singing. During her transition in life, she received her greatest calling and she answered. She realized that her true purpose in life was to encourage and enrich the lives of others. This included strengthening family bonds. After accomplishing this, we believe the Lord said, “Well Done, My Good and Faithful Servant, come on home and rest.”
She will be remembered by her beautiful smile.
