Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, June 20, 2022 at St. James C.M.E. Church, 215 Railroad Street, Marshallville, Georgia. Masks are required. Burial will follow at the Colonel Felton Cemetery, 504 South Street, Marshallville, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Braxton Bottom was born on October 22, 1994 in Perry, Georgia to Samuel Bottom and Brenda Harris Robinson. He was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents Jessie Sr. and Eva Lou Oglesby Harris, paternal grandparents Fred Sr. and Ella Bottom; uncles Jessie Harris, Jr., Billy Harris, Charles Bottom, James Bottom, Eddie Milton. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. At an early age he received his Christian training and was baptized at St. James C.M.E. Church under the leadership of Rev. Billy Heard.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved parents Samuel and Brenda Bottom; three sisters, Latonya Slappy, Chrystal Bottom, Latoya Fields; aunts and uncles Chester Harris, Tommy Harris (Frances), Alfred Harris (Connie), Sarah Harris, Rosetta Harris, Ella Postell, Fred Bottom Jr. (Mary), Nollie Bottom, Penny Skinner, Earlene Green (Walter), Mary Sands, Tommy Bottom (Daria), Lynn Knight, Monica Morris (Melvin), Anna Wallace (Eddie); step grandmother Priscilla Bottom; godmother Estelle Caldwell; devoted friend, Shondra Woodson; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and beloved friends.
