My condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the William and Duncan families. Betty and I were classmates at the Historical Ideal Junior High School under the tutelage of the late Miss Vannie Howard and under the leadership of Principal ship of the late Mrs. Lela L. Lawrence. Betty was a very good friend of mine. I usually visited her every summer when i visited Georgia. I missed this summer and now I will never have that chance again. I love you family, my prayers are with you. Sincerely, Bertha Tookes, Chicago, Illinois

So sorry to hear of Betty's death. I have many fond memories of her, I also drove the bus for Macon County. Death is never an easy thing to bear but we do have the comfort of knowing that soon it will be brought to nothing (1 Corinthians 15:26) and those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life (John 5:28-29). Until that time, continue to cherish those fond memories.
