Bernadette Diane Bell, age 53, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, Americus, Georgia.
 
The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 184 Dixon Drive, Cobb, Georgia. Apostle John K. Lundy will officiate.
 
Bernadette Diane Bell was born June 24, 1961 in Cobb, Georgia to Frank Brown and the late Erma Gaines Brown.
 
Bernadette was educated in the public school system of Sumter County and was a 1979 graduate of the historic Union High School in Leslie, Georgia. She furthered her education at South Georgia Technical College where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Office.

Bernadette accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She started her membership at New Zion Baptist Church in Cobb, Georgia.  Later on, she transitioned her membership to New Beginning Outreach Ministry in Americus. Bernadette worked for Davidson Textron Company in Americus, Georgia for many years as a Quality Control Auditor.
 
On November 29, 1985, Bernadette was joined in Holy Matrimony to Henry Bell, and to this union, two children were born.
 
She leaves a life of love and precious memories to her devoted husband of 29 years, Henry Bell, Sr.; two children, Henry Bell, III and Brianna Bell, both of Americus, Georgia; a father, Frank Brown, Cobb, Georgia; eight siblings, Patricia Ann Brown, Calvin Leon Brown, Glenn Eli Brown, Anthony Wayne Brown, all of Americus, Georgia, Chris Allen Brown (Charlotta), Baltimore, Maryland, Ray Anthony Brown, Americus, Georgia, Miranda Ann Thomas (Cedrick), Leesburg, Georgia, and Jeffery Milan Brown, Americus, Georgia; aunts, Margie C. Brown, Brunswick, Georgia and Mary Alice Ware, Desoto, Georgia; mother-in-law, Lettie Bell, Sylvester, Georgia;  sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice Bell, Sylvester, Georgia, Carl Bell, Conyers, Georgia, Johnny Bell, San Antonio, Texas, Audrey Bell, Albany, Georgia, and Linda Bell, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and several devoted friends.

My heart was deeply sadden when I heard about the passing of my classmate and friend, Bernadette. My prayers go out to her family. My friend has fought the fine fight and has done something we must do one day. I love her and I will miss her. May you all find comfort in knowing that your loved one is now pain free. May Jehovah God continue to bless you all.

I was so sorry and very sad to hear about the passing of Bernadette. She was a very sweet, friendly & wonderful person that always gave me a big hug whenever we saw each other. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Revelation 21:4 "God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry or pain be anymore". What a wonderful time to look forward to.

Sorry for you all lost my prayers go out to the family.Which we all know she was a very special sweet, nice and gentle person, would do anything for any one.i am sure she will be miss but gone to a better place. GOD take care of her cause she have well live her life here with her kindness and her smile that she always have..

There is no words to say about Bernadette but that she was one of the nicest person that anyone could have known and I know anyone that knew her would agree we all will miss her so sorry for the Bell And Brown lost , we will be praying for you all

Pat, I truly felt ur pain when I heard of Bernadette' s passing. We all had so much fun together growing up in Cobb. I will miss her beautiful smile and personality. Since Mom left and I am just overwhelmed with sadness, I just whisper a little prayer to The Lord and ask him to usher me into his presence. Once there he rocks me in his loving arms and it is there I find peace that Mom is at home with a father who loves her. That is my prayer for you, your siblings and Bernadetta's husband and children--that The Lord will usher you into his presence where you will find strength and peace. Love you my friend. I just heard about Bernadette and am so sorry for your loss. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Henry, her two children whom she talked about all the time and her sisters and brothers. I worked with Bernadette for many years and her smiling face and laugh will always be a wonderful memory of mine. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
