Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 on the lawn of First Salem Baptist Church, and burial will follow in Champ Waters Cemetery, both located at 191 Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. All attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Ms. Audrey Gelonda Woolfork was born on March 13, 1970 to the late Alonzo Jr. and Inez Mann Woolfork in Montezuma, Georgia. Audrey was a faithful member of First Salem Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and served in many other ministries. She was a proud graduate of the Almighty D.F. Douglass High School Class of 1989. Audrey was employed as a nurse at Montezuma Health and Rehabilitation Center in Montezuma, Georgia.
Audrey had many nicknames, such as Gal, “Piccolo Player,” Sassy #2, and “Moosie” just to name a few. She had a zest for life and enjoyed its many aspects. She loved to dance, play cards, and hang out with her family, friends and co-workers. On Friday, November 27, 2020, in the comfort of her home, Audrey traded the fun and games, for eternal glory, where she will no longer experience suffering, stress, nor pain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo Woolfork Jr. and Inez Mann Woolfork and three siblings: Lonnie Woolfork Sr., Jerome Felton, and Gladys Felton.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving sons, Rodney (Tanyel) Ogburn Jr., Charlotte, North Carolina and Caleb Ogburn, Montezuma, Georgia; four grandchildren, Tanorris Ogburn, Aria Ogburn, Mahogany Ogburn and Jace Ogburn; her siblings, Lisa (Arney) Bryant, Vienna, Georgia, Amillia (Eric) Williams, Michael (Barbara) Felton, Anne Felton, Sharon (Jody) Beal, Darron Felton, all of Montezuma, Georgia, Dennis Thomas (Betty) and Reginald (Brenda) Thomas, all of Hartford, Connecticut; two sisters-in-law, Trina Felton, Americus, Georgia; aunts/uncles, Louella Mann, Earl Mann, Sr., all of Montezuma, Georgia, John (Viola) Mann, Jr., Ervin (Pearl) Mann, Sr., Mae Bertha Jones, all of Riviera Beach, Florida; Kathy George, Betty Mann, all of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Roosevelt (Yvonne) Woolfork, Orlando, Florida, Earl Woolfork, Marie Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia, Mollie Reid, Warner Robins, Georgia, Eddie (Michelle) Woolfork, Canton, Michigan, and Geneva Carter (Elder James), Ocilla, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
