The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 6425 Jalappa Road, Byromville, Georgia. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Alvin Turner, pastor, will officiate.
Mrs. Antoinette Turner-Rice was born October 10, 1954 in Tampa Hillboro County, Florida to the late Roy Turner, Sr. and Ozzie Trice Turner, she acquired her education in the public school system of Macon County. She was a 1972 graduate of D.F. Douglass High School. She attended Albany Technical College and received her certificate in nursing. She was united in holy matrimony to Jimmy Rice who preceded her in death July 16, 2007. She retired from Walter Mills Manufacturing Company of Monroe, Georgia as an inspector, after her job closed down she and her husband moved to Maudling, South Carolina where she remained until her demise. She was a member of Laurel Creek United Methodist Church of Greenville, South Carolina.
Survivors are her devoted siblings, Barbara Daniel, Eugene Turner, Roy Turner (Jackie), Tommy Felton (Pearlie) and Cassandra Johnson (Clarence) all of Montezuma, Georgia; brothers-in-law / sisters-in-law; Robert E, Rice, Tony Rice, Michael Rice and Mark Rice all of Greenville, South Carolina, Billy Rice, Columbia, South Carolina, Stanley Rice (Michelle), Winston Salem, North Carolina, Caroline Jackson, Brenda Brockman, Teena Williams, Terry Thompson (Charles), Vickie Thompson (Robert) and Alexandria Williams (Audrey) all of Greenville, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
