The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 138 Bridges Road, Buena Vista, Georgia. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Ebenezer Road, Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia.
Mrs. Annie was born in Schley County to the late Reverend George Washington Hartage & the late Laura Jane Battle Hartage on October 6, 1918. She retired from St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut, as a food service technician. She served as an usher at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hartford, Connecticut and the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Buena Vista, Georgia.
Annie Clara Hartage Milliner-Times lived a great life, and now joins other angels who preceded her in death: a son Awron Milliner, two daughters, Mary Ann Milliner Hicks and Ocilla Milliner Williams, a great grandson, Jarrell Warmington, and a daughter-in-law Alberta Times Hartage.
She is survived by one daughter, Arelena (John) Warmington, Hartford, Connecticut and four sons: Chester Hartage, Buena Vista, Georgia, Winifred (Mary Ann) Milliner, Windsor, Connecticut, Robert (Bobbie) Milliner, Windsor, Connecticut, and Nathaniel (Katie) Milliner, Bloomfield, Connecticut and a devoted son-in-law, Walter Hicks, Sr., Buena Vista, Georgia.
Mrs. Times also leaves ten grandchildren: Nathan Milliner, Ricky Milliner, Cassandra Milliner, Bernard Milliner, Delroy Warmington, Ray Allen Hartage, Varick Williams, Pamela Milliner, Wilhelmina Hicks, and Walter Hicks, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren: Ricky Milliner Jr., Rylan Milliner, RaShawn Warmington, Laila Warmington, Ramon Hartage, Elizabeth Hartage, and Kendall Mary Ann Hicks; one great great grandchild, Mariah Hartage; a host of nephews, nieces including a devoted niece “Margie“ Storey; other relatives and friends including a lifelong friend, Edith Durrah.

Mrs. Clara was a dutiful usher. "Some ushers make more noise than the entrants".
Mrs. Clara tipped through the sanctuary making indication that it was a place of worship. Faithful, Diligent, and Friendly depicted her character.
Psalms 84:10 What a statement: "David said he'd rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God;than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."
"When I heard of Mrs. Clara's homegoing, I could imagine her singing, Good Bye World, I stay no longer with you".
