The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Corner of Russell and Johnson Streets, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Reverend Norris Harris, pastor of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Rev. Rodney Duncan, pastor of New Home Baptist Church, Buena Vista, Georgia, will officiate. Interment will follow in Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Andrew was born March 27, 1968 to the parentage of the late Willie Joe Kaigler and the late Annie Mae Albright Kaigler. Two brothers, Hermon Kaigler and LaMorris Harp, also preceded him in death.
He was educated in the public school system of Macon County, where he graduated with the Class of 1986. He also attended Delaware State & Atlanta Metropolitan College. He worked as an Inventory Management Specialist and a Warehouse Inspector in the United States Air Force. He received numerous awards during his enlistment. He served in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He also was self-employed as a Logistics Inspector.
Survivors are his wife, Amanda Kaigler, Jonesboro, Georgia; daughter, Janoah Kaigler, and stepdaughter, Hollis Brown, both of Jonesboro, Georgia; siblings, Charlie Will Kaigler, Detroit, Michigan, Dorothy Nelson, Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Marion Kaigler, Monroe, Georgia; three aunts, Nudine Smith (Alvin), Stockbridge, Georgia Winene Meadows (Ricky), Ideal, Georgia, and Dorothy Kaigler, Detroit, Michigan; one uncle, Charlie Willie Albright, Americus, Georgia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline Stephens (Al), Seneca, South Carolina, Rickey Gambrell (Barbara) Greenwood, South Carolina, Jerome Scott (Tina), Easley, South Carolina, and Troy Scott, Seneca, South Carolina; three nieces, Dorothea Kaigler, Alyssa Stephens, and Kelysey Scott, seven nephews, Antonio Walker, Donald Walker, Bryant Kaigler, Charlie Kaigler, Wynton Stephens, Tyler Scott, and Cameron Scott; and a host of other relatives and friends.
