Fannie Mae Brown, age 74, passed on November 3, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Medical Center, Albany, Georgia.

Graveside services will conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 12, 2021 at Lebanon Cemetery, Plains, Georgia.

Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.​

Lucile Williams Harris, age 80, of 420 Asbury Road, Oglethorpe, Georgia passed Sunday, October 31, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Johnny Lundy at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, McDonald Road, Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.

Lucile was born August 20, 1941 in Andersonville, Georgia to the late Pauline Williamson and late Minder Rucker. She was later reared by her mother, Pauline Harris and stepfather, Henry Lee Harris. After her mother’s death she was reared by a village of aunts Mary Webb, Catherine Melvin, Susie Taylor, Janie B. Schofield, Josephine Williamson, Essie English, and Sallie Mae Hicks and a host of uncles. She was educated in the Macon County school system with the Class of 1959. Missionary Harris was a devout Christian and loved singing for the Lord. She attended New Life Holiness Church of Oglethorpe, Georgia where she served as a Missionary under Overseer Johnny Lundy and Pastor Derita Solomon.

She was an employee of Southern Frozen Food for 44 years where she retired as a Food Inspector. Lucile was known best for her pies, cakes, and Brunswick Stew. She met no strangers with her sweet spirit and radiating smile. Lucile opened her home to many and fed numerous people in the community.

Two sons, Tony Williams and Minder Rucker, and one brother, Dr. Robert Dawson, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children Danny (Juvy) Williams, Paula Harpe, Delorie (Donia) Kendrick, Ruthie Turner all of Oglethorpe, Ga. Ronnie (Sherri) Williams of Hagerstown, Maryland. Twenty-three grandchildren, Casandra Hudson Rogers (Daniel), Tony Williams Jr. (Stephanie), Tequila Young, Tomealya Hudson, Tyesha Rucker, Deondra Hudson (Reginald Solomon), Chelsey Wade, Jammie Williams, Ashley Turner, Domienike Hudson, Jasper Williams, Ravaik Williams (Sara), Javian Williams (Sheaira), Joselyn Wade, Jeremy Hudson, O’Bryan Shelley, Patrice Williams, Jaylan Kendrick, Kerry Daniel, Winter Williams, De’Treyvion Larry, A’Treyvianna Hudson, Markiya Hudson and twenty five great grands. One sister in law, Cheryl Dawson of Americus, GA. A host of nieces and nephews. Special friends and cousins Annie Pearl Hamilton and Brenda Dean. Another special friend Connie Rocquemore.

John Henry Mann Jr. was born on March 12, 1946 to the late Reverend John Henry Mann Sr. and the late Alberta Rackley Mann. He had nine Siblings. He was born and raised in Montezuma, Georgia. He obtained his education in Macon County public school system. Our beloved one was gifted and skilled as a construction foreman. His love and passion for nature showed through his gardening techniques. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Personal savior and became a member of First Salem Baptist Church.

On June 2, 1972 he married the love of his life, Viola Smith Mann and settled In West Palm Beach, Florida. They were blessed with four children, Delphina Mann, the late John Smith Mann, Jarod Mann and Michael Hadley (Atlanta Ga.) John Mann lived an adventurous life he made presence known in any room that he walked in. His love for humanity and animals was admired by many. Fishing was his meditation, as well as his hobby. He enjoyed entertaining and cooking for his loved ones and friends. Mr. Mann displayed a Superior work ethic as he took pride in anything that he was set to do. His neighbors were dear to his heart; he loved them and they loved him. If You were a friend in need, he was your friend indeed. His thirteen grand and great grand children are a display of some of his Greatest accomplishments. Jean, great grand (West Palm Beach, FL.) Kaydance Mann, (West Palm Beach, FL.), Janautica Mann (Seattle Washington).

 On October 20, 2021 Beloved John H. Mann Jr. completed his earthly assignment. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” Left to celebrate his Legacy are: his loving and devoted wife, children, grand children and great grand children, three siblings, Mae Bertha Jones (West Palm Beach, FL.), Eirvin Mann (West Palm Beach, FL.), Earl Mann Sr.(Montezuma Georgia), three sister in laws, Betty Mann, Louella Mann, and Kathy Mann; Patrica Smith, Louise Smith, Robert Smith (Felecia) Donnson Smith (Cathy), of Montezuma Ga., Kimberly Thomas (Ted) Albany Ga. Preceded him in death father in law and mother in law Richard and Elizabeth Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. A special cousin Troy Collier. A Special niece Javanka Smith and a special friend Dewayne Johnson.
