Mrs. Louise Suggs Harris, age 91, 92 Tom Watson Avenue, Ideal, Georgia passed Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Miona Geriatric & Dementia Center, 201 Poplar Street, Ideal, Georgia.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, 907 Brooks Road, Ideal, Georgia. The Reverend Zechariah Terry, pastor, will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Hopewell Independent Church Cemetery, Brooks Mill Road, Rupert, Macon County, Georgia.

Mrs. Louise Suggs Harris was born March 6, 1925 to the late Willie Coleman Suggs, Sr. and Luverne Fish Suggs.  She was educated in the public school system of Macon County. At an early age she joined the historic Freewill Baptist Church of Ideal, Georgia.  After many years of dedicated service she retired from Ideal Intermediate Care Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant.

She was united in Holy matrimony to the late John Henry Harris and to this union they were blessed with three sons. Richard, her middle son, preceded her in death. Her brother, Willie Coleman Suggs, Jr., also preceded her in death. On January 12, 2017, Louise joined that great caravan of loved ones and believers and we believe the Lord himself said, “Well Done, My Good and Faithful Servant, come on home and rest.”

She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Henry James Harris (Rebecca) Augusta, Georgia, Freddie L. Harris Sr., Ideal, Georgia; grandchildren, DaTosha Harris, Savannah, Georgia, Toya Harris, Augusta, Georgia, Tressa Harris, and Richard Eugene Harris (Cheri) both of  Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tara Harris, and Mary Harris both of Decatur, Georgia, Freddie L. Harris, Jr. (Sondra) Alpharetta, Georgia; niece, Annie Joe Leary (Eddie) Macon, Georgia; sister-in-law, Annie Neil Suggs, Ideal, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

My dear, Mother-in-Law, you will be missed by so many who love you. However, we know who loved you the most and was ready for you to come home. So rest on, Dear Heart, we know that joy comes in the morning.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know you have many wonderful memories of your time with Mrs .Louise. When you reflect on the memories you shared they will bring a smile to your heart. I know this is a difficult time, but the Bible gives us a wonderful future hope , Revelation 21:4 says death will be is no more. The Bible promises we will live in a world free of death. This is an awesome future promise made by Almighty God to obedient mankind. May you have peace.

I extend my condolences and hope the family and friends of your dear loved one finds comfort in knowing that, Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) is going to remove death forever. Also,God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and there will be no more mourning, outcry or pain (Revelation 21:4). What a wonderful future hope our loving God provides us.
