Lizzie E. King, age 56, passed on March 18, 2024.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Greater Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 269 Pursley Street, Macon, Georgia. Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 26, Montezuma, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

I was sadden to hear of Lizzie’s passing but the life she lived speaks well of her. She never met a stranger and she always kept you laughing. She loved GOD, family and enjoyed her life. May her many memories and GOD’s word comfort you.

Sis you gone really be missed girl but I know that God got you. To your kids and grandkids always look to the hill from which cometh all your help. Your help comes from the Lord and earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal. And I love you all always!!!

So shocked and saddened to hear of your transition to your new home cuz, but I know that all things including our lives are in God's hand. He, our father in heaven, knows our beginning and our end. You were such a sweetheart and deserved so much after the valleys God brought you through. And I do believe that you got that reward that you so deserved before the sunset of your life. I'll forever remember that glow and smile on your face the last time our paths crossed. Take your rest baby girl, for you have earned your crown.
