Irene Jackson Miler, age 75, passed on April 24, 2024.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Travelers Home Road, Ideal, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Irene was born in Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia on February 6, 1949, to Maybird Jackson. She was educated in the public school system of Schley County. Irene was a homemaker. She was married to the late Eddie Miler. She was also preceded in death by siblings Oscar Jackson, Lester Jackson, Oliver Jackson, Susie Jackson, and Mattie Willie Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her brother Emmett Jackson, Ellaville, Georgia; nieces Angela Spencer, Americus, Ga Shameka Jackson Sykes, Atlanta, Georgia, nephews Eric Jackson, Atlanta, Georgia, Alfred Smith, Smithville, Georgia; devoted friends Ben Mcgarrah, Addie Colbert, Robert Holt and Sarah Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends.
