Christine Jones, age 75, passed on March 13, 2024.
Christine Jones was born March 3, 1949, to the late Junior Jackson and Katie Bell Jackson in Buena Vista, Marion County, Georgia. She was educated in the public school system of Marion County; she also joined the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Marion County.
She married the one and only love of her life, the late Gilbert Jene Jones, and she was blessed with three stepdaughters. One, Mechell Sparks, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three siblings: Mary Jackson, Louis Jackson, and Carolyn Jackson.
Christine leaves a legacy of love and many beautiful memories to her daughters; LueAnn Hunt (Dadrian) and Tracy Smith all of Americus, Georgia; son-in-law, Ken Sparks, Americus, Georgia; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her siblings, Willie James Jackson, Alton Jackson, Joe Jones, Joe Jackson, Charles Jackson, Michael Jackson, Jeffery Jackson, Benny Jackson, Debra Shelton and Debra Jackson, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
