Cherryl Denise Furlow, age 57, passed on December 15, 2023.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church, Cotton Avenue, Americus, Georgia. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

It is with a heavy heart my condolence is expressed.
We mourn, but not like those who have no Hope as we do in Jesus Christ.

Words alone could never express the void that Cherryl's passing has left in our hearts. May the Furlow family find comfort in God's promise to never leave nor forsake us. Cherryl was my friend and co-worker for the past 23 years and she was a jewel at being both. Spread your wings wide my friend Cherryl and fly high. May your sweet sweet spirit forever soar.

I am grateful for the time that we shared growing up as playmates unto young adults. You shared it all with me I will miss you dearly. My sister friend of over 33 years Cherryl, whom I bubbly called Shirley Furley, said goodbye, see you later just the other day. Although the tears won’t stop flowing and my heart wanted her to stay, God needed her most and Cherryl is resting in her new heavenly home. I miss my friend so very much and I love my “Shirley Furley”

Words can't explain how we feel about our sweet, humble, loving cousin Cherryl. Soon God will swallow up death forever. Than as John 5:28&29 brings out we will hear his voice.....
