
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Burial will follow in Freeman Hill Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Anthony Lee Baldwin was born June 26, 1963 to the late Leo Baldwin and Gladys Corley Baldwin in Miami, Florida. He was preceded in death by one sister Barbara Ann Baldwin. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. Anthony worked as a painter until he retired. He loved dancing and entertaining family and friends. He will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Robin Woods-Baldwin, Bronx, New York; siblings, Leola Griffin, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Ervin Baldwin (Annette), Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Emma Silas (Calvin), College Park, Georgia, Cora Sanders, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Rhodessia “Rose” Strong (Willie Leland), Vera M. Stevens (Kevin) Joseph Baldwin, Lenny Baldwin (Shannon), all of Florida; nieces and nephews, Jessica Baldwin, Jeremy Baldwin, Estee Griffin, Kendra Baldwin, Tiffany Baldwin, Ervin J. Baldwin, Sierra Cromer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
