Sarah Jane Thomas, age 66, a native of Sumter County, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John Lyles and the late Bertha Holmes.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Friendship Baptist Church, 411 Cotton Avenue, Americus, Georgia. Interment will follow at the Eastview Cemetery, 802 Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc.
