Ms. Rose Marie Joiner,  age 56, passed on February 22, 2018.

Memorial services will held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, Brooks Road, Ideal, Georgia. Burial will follow at Hopewell Independent Church Cemetery, Rupert, Georgia.

“There is therefore now know condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit, of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do.  By sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh in for sin, he commended sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who lives according to the spirit set their minds on the things of the spirit.  Romans: 8: 1-39.”

Ms. Rose Marie Joiner was born March 31, 1961 in Macon County, Montezuma, Georgia. She attended the D.F. Douglass High School and was a member of the class of 1980. At an early age, Rose took her faith and joined the Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church.  Rose was one who had a big heart and many hidden talents to include cooking, sewing, and most importantly she loved to dance. After many years of living in Ideal, Georgia, Rose moved to Atlanta where she lived until her demise.  On February 22, 2018, God knew his child had become weak and weary in this life and he took her to live with him.

Rose will be missed by many who knew her and loved her. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories a daughter, Ms. Lakisha Marie Joiner, Atlanta, Georgia; her mother, Mrs. Ruthie Mae Joiner Howard, Ideal, Georgia; siblings, Mrs. Annie Powe (Ernest), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Ms. Regina Joiner, Rivera Beach, Florida, Mr. Barry Joiner (Pua), Fort Worth, Texas, Melissa Joiner, Ideal, Georgia, Charlie Howard, Jr., Americus, Georgia, Catina Marshall (Charlie), Montezuma, Georgia; aunts, Mrs. Mae Chambers, Miami, Florida, Ms. Ella West (Bennie) Miami, Florida, Ms. Bertha Joiner and Ms. Betty Joe Joiner, Montezuma, Georgia.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Special friends: Mr. Van McKenzie and Mrs. Cathy Green.

“When you hear of my homegoing, don’t worry about me. For I am in a better place where I can rest for eternity. As you go about your lives let the life you live speak for you; getting closer to GOD is the best that you can do. No matter what is said or done after I am gone, just know I’ve found myself a place called HEAVEN and I have made it my new home. Live your life to the fullest and embrace it every day and give your life to Christ and I will surely see you again one day."

To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you during this most difficult time.
(2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May you find comfort in the hope of the resurrection found in the Scriptures at John 5:28,29 where Jesus promised that there's going to be a resurrection of all those in the grave and they will hear his voice and come out. I extend my condolences to you all for your loss. Please take comfort in Jesus' words at John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life".

You have my heartfelt condolences. God assures us that if we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. (James 4:8) May you find comfort in your precious memories of Rose and in the Scriptures. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; John 5:28, 29).
