Pearlie Mae Paster Lawson, age 78, passed on June 4, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Pearlie Mae Paster was born on July 1, 1945, to the late Mose Paster and Pearlie Lowe Paster. She is preceded in death by a brother Harvey Lee Oglesby. She attended the public school system of Macon County and graduated from the historic D. F. Douglass High School. Throughout her adulthood she lived in New Jersey. She later came back to her native home of Georgia to live.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her son Elbert Paster (Carol); brother Willie James Paster (Min. Arthur Mae), Montezuma, Georgia; nieces and nephews Kimberly Paster Danielly, Byron, Georgia, Toni Paster Dupree, Virginia, Ameka Carrol, Warner Robins, Georgia, James Vason, Jacksonville, Florida, Steve Vason (LaFonda), Macon, Georgia, Richard Brown, Raleigh, North Carolina, Tremaine Paster; a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
