Martha Jean Hardy, age 71, of Montezuma, Georgia passed on November 24, 2024.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, 1301 Julianne Street, Perry, Georgia 31069. Burial will follow at the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

My sincere condolences to the Hardy family and friends. A word of comfort in your time of sorrow and may Jehovah, the God of all comfort, comforts and strengthens you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and make us yearn for the day when Jehovah will swallow up death forever and wipe away the tears from all faces. (Isaiah 25:8) ❤️

Many prayers sent to the family for strength and comfort during this difficult time. I didn’t know her personally but she was part of my spiritual family. I look forward to meeting her and seeing her beautiful smile with no more pain.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Martha's heavenly transition. Martha was such a sweet person. Anyone that has met Martha knows she always smiled and what a beautiful and welcoming smile it was indeed! Martha will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Please extend my sympathy to the entire Hardy family.
