Martavian “Tye” Mann, age 30, passed on January 22, 2023.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at First Salem Baptist Church, 191 Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow at Champ Waters Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

When Martavian worked at GEICO, he would call me his GEICO momma. I cherished that title then and still do now. He was such a genuine and sweet soul. He always came in with a smile and loved to just be happy. He will truly be missed by his GEICO momma. Love you Martavian. Prayers for your family.

My sincere condolences to Martavian's family and love ones. I am very fond of this young man, we were co-workers at GEICO...I loved his mannerisms, he was very respectful my youngest son and he are 8 days apart in age...I looked at him as a work son...I loved cutting up with him, he had a very sweet honest disposition...a Godly spirit...I will truly miss his laugh, smile and sense of humor...may he RIH...I pray to see him again on the other shore...

My prayers are with the Ridley, Mann, Greene family. I don’t know you all pain but I can only imagine the void, hurt. Tye was a respectful, humble young man and I sincerely believe he made it in, anyone who really knew Tye knows he loved God and he had a personal relationship with him.
