Jerry L. Schofield, age 80, a native of Macon County, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the St. Paul A.M.E Church, corner of Johnson and Russell Streets, Oglethorpe Georgia. The Reverend Norris Harris, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels.
