The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 10, 2024, at St. James C.M.E. Church, Railroad Street, Marshallville, Georgia. The burial will follow in the Willow Lake Cemetery, Fort Valley, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Jamie was born August 23, 1955, in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida to the late James McBride and the late Laurene Davis Flowers. She was educated in the public school system of Duval County, Florida. She was a school bus driver for the public school system of Duval County. In 2002 she moved to Marshallville, Georgia. She was a member of St. James C.M.E. Church and she was employed with Perdue Farms for several years. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodrick Jordan Lamar.
Survivors include her fiancé, Leonard Little, Marshallville, Georgia; two children, Marvin Joseph Jordan and Michael James Jordan; god son, Adrian Oates, Marshallville, Georgia; three siblings, Nora Felton, Marshallville, Georgia, Freddie Lee Johnson (Glenda), Penny Lowe Sawyer, all of Jacksonville, Florida; aunts and uncle, Minnie Pearl Rumph, Orlando, Florida and Willie Battle, Ft. Valley, Georgia; god father, Samuel Rice, Marshallville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews including Mija Felton, Marshallville, Georgia; great nieces & nephews, Na’Adria Felton , Na’ Fabian Felton and Adrian Felton and devoted cousin Sharon Dasher, Jacksonville, Florida.
