The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 19, 2014 at United Holiness Headquarters Church, 901 Aaron Snipes, Sr. Drive, Americus, Georgia. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.
Mr. James Jackson was born October 30, 1957 in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia to Blessie Brown Jackson and the late Monroe Jackson, Sr. He was educated in the public school system of Americus, Georgia, where he acquired his high school education from the historic Staley High School in 1976. He was a well-known carpenter and painter until his health failed. He was very loving person to his family and friends.
Born in a family of thirteen siblings, he was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Monroe Jackson Sr., and one brother, Monroe Jackson, Jr.
He leaves a legacy of love and loving memories to his beloved family, which include the following: a loving mother, Mrs. Blessie Brown Jackson, Americus, Georgia; eleven siblings, Curtis (Willa) Jackson, Smithville, Georgia, Annie Ruth J. Angrish, Rosetta Jackson, Geraldine Jackson, Robert Jackson, Bell Jackson, Madeline (Larry) Cooke, Gloria Jackson, Bessie Mae Jackson, and Wallace (Sherlyn) Jackson, all of Americus, Georgia, and Rev. Sallie (Pastor Earl) Williams, Hinesville, Georgia; a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
