Henry William King, Jr. has been called from labor to reward. Mr. King, known to many as “Shimmy,” was born on February 13, 1957, in Montreal, Ontario, Canada to the late Mr. Henry King, Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Williams King.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Union Tabernacle Baptist Church, Adderton Street, Americus, Georgia. Burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc.
