Harvey Robert Walker, Sr., age 66, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Crisp Regional Hospital.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Corinth Baptist Church, 1610 State Hwy 127 West, Garden Valley Community, Ideal, Georgia. Reverend Lee McCants, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

I am heartbroken about Bobby’s passing. My grandfather, Chesley Gilmore, loved him so much. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Bobby….riding in the front seat of the truck sitting in between my grandfather and Bobby, asking Bobby to watch me turn cartwheels, showing him my new bike…he was truly loved by our family. Much love and condolences to the Walker family from the McCarty’s.
