Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Kingville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Firetower Road, Cusseta, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Evelyn Times was born in Cusseta, Ga on June 3, 1943 to the parents of the late James Crumbley and Edna Mae Crumbley. Her mother, Edna Mae Crumbley, preceded her in death by one day. Three siblings, Joyce Crumbley, Jerome Crumbley, and John Crumbley, also preceded her in death. Evelyn was the caretaker for her mother. Evelyn loved the Lord; she was a faithful and active servant as a member of her church. She was employed as a housekeeper with Fort Benning, Fort Gilliam, and Fort McPherson army bases and retired after 42 years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Christopher Hudson and Michael Hudson, both of Decatur, Georgia; three sisters, Annette Fields (Darryl), Riverdale, Georgia, Carrie Ashe and Velma Hudson both of Buena Vista, Georgia; seven brothers, Willie C. Crumbley (Mary), Decatur, Georgia, Joseph Crumbley, Irvin Crumbley (Beverly), all of Buena Vista, Georgia, David Crumbley, Calvin Crumbley, James Crumbley (Sharon), all of Decatur, Georgia, Tony Crumbley, Augusta, Georgia; a host of beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
