This is so hard to believe, and although we don’t understand God’s plan; we have to accept it. I never thought seeing you and loving on you at mommy’s birthday party would be the last time I saw you. You’ll be sadly missed but you’ll forever be in our hearts. Thank you for always loving us and being there for us; we’re forever grateful. SIP Aunt Mae, God has you❤️

I keep hoping this is a bad dream. My heart is crushed, my spirit is broken, my tears have no end. She my mom, my dad, best friend, the person that knew me better than anyone.. This was the one person that could still make me jump to attention with a single glance at the age of 59. I know Mull, dad, Auntie Lillie Mae, Auntie Poo gal , Uncle Sonny man, Uncle Black, Marvin , Madell, and Papa was there to welcome you. So until I see you again you knew I loved you with all my heart. Faye

My perspective on Life, Love and understanding just took a new meaning! Blessed with such an AMAZING Woman for so many years have taught me how to Love and forgive! A Mother who was not perfect but sacrificed ALL facets of getting ahead for her Children shows ANY Woman strengths aren’t hidden their just not used! I celebrate my Mother’s life and my new beginnings because NO ONE can ever fill the shoes my Mother walked! I see often people put “ THE BEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD” but we’re they just as good? It’s great to say you have the best Mom in the World and my Siblings can say it without doubt! I’m not sure what tomorrow will bring but today I celebrate my Queen, my Friend, my World and my Mother! To anyone who reads this and still have your Mom, please Love on her daily and not just on Mothers Day! I can never understand under any circumstances someone not Loving their Mom! I’ll miss you Mom and Love you forever!

Auntie Mae you will truly be missed by all. God broke our family chain once again and peeked the perfect peach for His harvest. I was listening to the last message you sent me and it reminded me of how hard you love your family. Now I understand what that saying came from our Grandad means. "I'll kill a brick about you".
I thank God for you and for the opportunity to have known you, and the wisdom that you installed in me and all my cousin. You was not just an aunt you were our mom as well. You could make us laugh and cry and not always at the same time. That's killing the brick in our family. For that I will forever love you. Auntie my dad oldest Sister.

TO: The Calvin and Larry family, I met Erie back in 1985, she was a very sweet, but direct woman. I then went on to work with her daughters, especially Tammy with Head Start. To her children, you had a STRONG mom, a dedicated woman looking out for you. Cherish those memories, never let the younger ones forget her. I pray for comfort during your time of grief and sorrow. Love never dies, think of her daily and smile knowing she is now resting from her labor. Hold on, God is still in control.
