Emmitt was a wonderful man always kept a smile. Every time we met him he would say " man, it ain't getting no better." That was his favorite saying when he greet us. Emmitt truly was a dear friend to us. We pray that his kindness lives on through his family.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Smith family. Please trust in Jehovah the God of all tender mercies to comfort you during this difficult time. For the bible says "God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more" Rev 21:4 and that "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" Acts 24:15. This means no one will ever get sick or die. Our loved ones will live again free from all present-day suffering, and be reunited with their family and friends right here on earth. The resurrection is a wonderful hope our God has given us to look forward to. Think of the joy when you see your dear Emmitt again. Beloved Husband, Devoted Father, and Grandfather.

I'm sad to see that I have lost an uncle. I'm Margie's son. When my sister, Brenda called to tell me of uncle Emmitt's passing, I knew I needed to come to Oglethorpe. I hope to see my family on Saturday. I pray that everyone will continue to be bless by God's grace. I look forward to seeing my family soon.
