Emmett Lee Heath, age 87, 971 Brady Road, Americus, Georgia, passed away January 31, 2022, at the Cordele Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cordele, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held virtually at 12:30 P.M., February 7, 2022.
Emmett was born November 26, 1934 in Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia to the late John & Beatrice Phillip. He was reared by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ann Heath. He was preceded in death a brother, John Tomason. Emmett served in the United States Armed Forces. He was united in holy matrimony to his beloved Pauline Heath.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Pauline Heath, Americus, Ga; thirteen children, Bryan Heath, Danny Heath, Gerard Heath, both of Ellaville, Ga, Tony Phillips, LaSchala Phillips, Sorrell Phillips (Kim), Carlos Washington, John Boone, (Barbara), all of Americus, Ga, Wendy Heath-Glover, Marietta, Ga, Nancy Smith, Warner Robins, Ga, Roderick Waymon, Marc Waymon and Crystal Kimbrough (Gabriel); thirty-six grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; two sisters Ossie Manuel and Lovie Mae Ward; four brothers/ sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, a devoted cousin Inez Moses.
