Mrs. Diane Holt Laster was born December 21, 1969 in Buena Vista, Marion County, Georgia to Curtis Holt, Sr. and the late Emma Lou Holt. She was educated in the public school system of Taylor County.
She was employed with Baby Dream Furniture Company for a number of years before retiring as her health began to decline. She was a full-time homemaker.
On Sunday January 17, 2021 Diane made her transition from this life to eternal life in the surrounding of her beloved family. She will be deeply missed. We take comfort in knowing that out of love and compassion, God sent his angel of mercy to the bedside of Diane and whispered soft and clear, “Peace Be To Thee.” We find solace in knowing that she joins other family members in eternal rest. Her life, love, laughter and legacy will forever be cherished by her beloved husband, Mark Anthony Laster, her father, Curtis Holt, Sr., a daughter, Shenekquill Holt (Jamaine); three sons, Hercheal Holt, Sr. (Elisha), Hershey Holt, Jr.and Ronnie Holt all of Buena Vista, Georgia; a step son, Marcus Laster of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two step daughters, Brittany Laster, Brandi Muff (Kristen) of Americus, Georgia; twenty one (21) grandchildren; two brothers, Curtis Holt, Jr. and Christopher Holt; a sister Velma Holt all of Buena Vista, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
