
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Mr. Coy Barron was born in Dooly County, Georgia January 7th, 1932, to the late Coy Barron Sr. and the late Rosie Lee Renford Barron. He was educated in the Dooly County public school system. Mr. Coy worked as a Mechanic after many years of service he retired as a Diesel Mechanic. Mr. Coy enjoyed racing cars and socializing. Mr. Barron had one daughter to precede him in death, Ms. Ernestine Ford, and three siblings Mr. Sammy Lee Barron, Mr. John T. Barron and Mr. Larry James Barron.
He leaves to cherish his memories six children, Audrey Crawford (Ian) Fairburn Georgia, Timothy Barron (Michael Itoro) Byron, Georgia, Larry Barron, Camden, New Jersey, Darvita Wheeler (Henry) Byromville, Georgia, Clevon Barron (LaQuetta) Augusta, Georgia, Coy Barron III of St. Petersburg, Florida; 23 Grandchildren, and 1 Great- grandchild, 6 siblings. Mr. Willie Fred (Louise) of Buffalo, New York, Mr. Joseph Barron, Mr. Ben Barron, Mr. Jannie M. Winters, Mr. David Barron (Ariebelle) and Mrs. Judy Barron (Jimmy) all of Byromville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Doris Denise Harden-Barron; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
