Mrs. Christine Richardson Adams was born May 24, 1924 to the late John Wesley Richardson and Willie Mae Lloyd Richardson in Macon County, Georgia. One sister, Sallie Mae Richardson Jackson preceded her in death.
She moved to Chicago, Illinois for a better life. On March 29, 1981, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Leo Adams, Sr. They lived a happy life until his demise. While she continued to live in Chicago, she made many spiritual friends and became well traveled. She always enjoyed learing new things and meeting new faces. She was a mother figure to many others. She showed great love and concern for everyone. After many dedicated years of service, she retired as C.N.A.
After retirement, she moved back briefly to her native land, Montezuma, Georgia. Later she moved permanently to Warner Robins, Georgia until her demise. She was a devout member of The Living Church of God.
She leaves to cherish her memory four sisters, Rosa R. Journey, Atlanta, Georgia, Gladys R. Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia, Bessie R. Tabor (Ernest), Atlanta, Georgia and Betty Miles (James), Americus, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
We will miss our friend very much.
