Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Magnolia Baptist Church, 415 Hosie Waters Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 26, Montezuma, Georgia.
Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Bonny Lee Hunter, Jr. was born October 5, 1968, to the late Jessie Mae Cromer Hunter and Bonny Lee Hunter, Sr. of Orlando, Florida. He was a high school graduate of the historical D.F. Douglass High School and South Georgia Technical College of Americus, Georgia where he majored in Aircraft Structural Technology. He was an avid football and softball player.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Mae Cromer Hunter.
He was a former employee of Blue Bird Body Company, Inc. of Fort Valley, Georgia and an active member of the Magnolia Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his many memories to his wife: Pamela Gail Tucker of Dublin, Georgia, His six children, Jessica I. Tucker, Jordyn Bonet Hunter, J’Leeya Emyia Hunter, Jonathan Wilson Hunter all of Dublin, Georgia, Iyanni Lenae Hunter of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Jaquavis J. Franklin, Montezuma, Georgia, His father Bonny Lee Hunter, Sr. of Orlando, Florida, His grandchildren: Milano Smith (Iyanni), Romero Redding and Raquel Redding (Jessica). Two sisters: Julie Worley of Americus, Georgia and Chelsea Hollinger of Atlanta, Georgia, A devoted friend: Jeffery Haugabook (Shurvon) of Warner Robins, Georgia, His aunt: Joyce Hurston, LaGrange, Georgia, His mother-in-law: Jenell P. Ficklin of Dublin, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends including his Blue Bird and Magnolia Baptist Church families.
