Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., November 14, 2020 at Champ Waters Cemetery, 191 Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.
Debra Ann Brown Williams was born on September 22, 1956 to the late James Brown and late Mattie Claude Roberts in Miami, Florida. She was educated in the public school system of Macon County. At an early age, she joined Mr. Pleasant/Travelers Rest C.M.E. Church. Debra was united in holy matrimony to Jerome Williams Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Ezekiel Williams; sister, Belinda Hudson; grandmother, Beatrice Spivey Roberts; aunts, Dorothy Witchard, Georgia Bell Journey, and Helen Hubbard; and a great aunt, Clara May Seay.
Debra leaves to cherish memories: four children, Emanuel Williams, Cordele, Georgia, Jerome Williams, Jr. (Amy), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Pricilla Williams, Montezuma, Georgia, and Rocky Williams, Warner Robins, Georgia; a host of loving grandchildren; siblings, Phillip Jackson, Miami, Florida, Dorothy Brown, Montezuma, Georgia, James Brown Jr. (Angela) Macon, Georgia, Anthony Brown (Jackie), Atlanta, Georgia, Angela Brown, Joel Brown (Paula), Johnny Brown (Videtta), all of Montezuma, Georgia, Jacky Brown (Betty), Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Brown, Warner Robins, Georgia; uncles, Haymon Brown and Marvin Brown, Miami, Florida; aunts, Ada Marshall, Miami, Florida, Bernice Williams (Alonzo), Miami, Florida, Alice Marie Bennett, San Antonio, Texas, Gloria Jean Sumerset, Miami, Florida, Barbara Ann Taylor (Preston), Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cynthia Lewis Miami, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including two devoted friends, Twana Akins, Cordele, Georgia and Ebone Carter, Warner Robins, Georgia.
