She was educated in the Dooly and Macon County Public School Systems. Mattie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined the membership of the First Salem Baptist Church. During her time here on earth, she loved helping others so that she became a caregiver for a few families and friends. Mattie is preceded in death by a daughter Fontella Williams, Sister: Sarah Brown and two Brothers James Calvin Redding Jr. and Willie Redding. On October 11, 2024, our Heavenly Father sent an angel to escort Beverly on her journey to her new home to rest in his kingdom. Beverly was born on March 11, 1956, to the late Addie Pearl Kleckley and Deacon Willie B. Jolly. Beverly was educated in the NYC public school system. She was known for her incredible singing voice, which landed her into the specialized school of Music and Arts. Beverly had a love for classic, old school and R&B. Beverly was united into holy matrimony to Georges Jean-Jacques on August 11, 1982, in New York City. From this union, they had one son, Pierre. In April 2004, Beverly and George then relocated to Tampa, Florida where she worked as a travel agent and in the collection industry. Beverly had an infectious laugh and beautiful spirit which contributed to her making life-long friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Gregory Jolly, and her aunt Goldie Harriston. The light of her world was her son Pierre, and granddaughter, Penelope. Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 42 years, Georges Jean-Jacques; her loving son, Pierre Jean-Jacques (Daphne) of New York; Granddaughter Penelope, Siblings: Jeffrey Jolly (late Shirley) Oglethorpe, GA; Gilbert Harris (Mary) Ideal, GA; Sidney Ellis (Cheryl) Montezuma, GA; Stanley Gregory, of Tampa, FL; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jeannette led by example, instilling in her children the importance of faith in Christ, the value of education, and the advantage of hard work, living out these principles through her actions more than her words. Jeannette's passion was her flowers, she loved making arts and crafts. "Mother didn’t have to tell us she loved us, we knew it by the time and patience she put it in the crafts, she made for each one of us." Jeannette joined Evergreen Baptist Church, Evergreen Road, Mauk, Georgia at an early age, where she was a life-long, faithful member. Jeannette passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Willie Small and Claudia Bell Pitts Small, one son: Jule Cornelious Sales, one grandson Kelvin Reeves and ten siblings: William Clarence Pittman, Helen Small, Charlie B. Small, Milton Small, Ola Mae Small, Fanniel Small, Mary Frances Searcy, Wilbert Small, Charlie Joe Small and Annie Gorman. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving companion: William Cruz; five children: Bernice Sales (Larry), Julie Sales, Anthony Sales, and Earnestine Small. Ella Pearl Story Williamson was born December 18, 1938, in Schley County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Bennie and Eva Story. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Williamson, parents Bennie and Eva Story, brothers, Leonard Story, Franklin Story and Sisters Una B. Hickey and Irene Edge. Ella Pearl received her education in the public school of Ellaville, GA. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and joined the Union Hill A.M.E. Church and there she served faithfully. She later moved her membership to the Oak Grove Baptist Church where she chose to serve the Lord with her husband Robert. As a faithful member, she served as a Deaconess, Usher, and Church Secretary. She was always willing to do whatever for the advancement of the Lord’s work. After the passing of her husband Robert, she returned to her home Church, Union Hill A.M.E. Church where she served until she moved to Huntsville, AL. Ella Pearl, as she was affectionately called by loved ones and friends, met the love of her life at an early age. Her beauty and grace captured the eye of Robert Williamson, and they became partners in marriage on January 15, 1956. To this union, they were blessed with three children. This union was blessed for a period of 59 years until Robert’s passing in 2015. Ella Pearl was very well known and loved by the community. She brought joy and light to everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger. If you were around her for any time, she would soon strike up a conversation with you as if you were best friends. She will always be remembered by her family and friends as a loving, kind, God fearing woman who was always willing to give advice, a helping hand, and a shoulder to lean on. She was a woman of great wisdom and knowledge. She always had an encouraging word to inspire others to be their best. She was blessed and highly favored by God and it showed in her daily living. Ella was known as “The Hat Lady” by many because she loved sporting her church hats every Sunday. Ella Pearl was also known in her community as the “Potato Queen”. She grew, harvested and sold sweet potatoes on the family farm for more than 20 years. She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Eddie James Williamson (Gwendolyn), Augusta, GA, Rose Wilhite (Kenneth), Huntsville, Al, and Shondria Williamson, Houston, Texas; five devoted grandchildren: Shallon Mims (Sheldon), Bryce Williamson (Nicole,) Breanna Jackson (Gerald), Jasmine Wilhite, and Khalil Williamson; three great-grandchildren: Edia Mae Mims, Ava Alyse Jackson and Amari James Williamson. Also, survived by two siblings: Robert Lee Story, Murfreesboro, TN and Eva Mae Stephenson, Smyrna, GA as well as brother and sister in-laws: Willie Arthur (Rose) Williamson, Pinetown, NC, Christine Stewart, Ellaville, GA, Josephine (Samuel) Mercer, Ellaville, GA, Annie Mildred Williamson, Atlanta, GA, Annie Pearl (Rev. Katie Hamilton, age 92, passed October 16, 2024. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Rostrum of Eastview Cemetery, Ashby Street, Americus Georgia. Katie was born January 7, 1932, in Plains, Sumter County, Georgia to the late Claude Hamilton and Mamie Lou Hill Hamilton. She attended the public school system of Sumter County where she completed the eighth grade. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are a beloved son, James Hawkins, Warner Robins, Georgia; She was preceded in death by: Claude C. Hamilton Jr, Sammie Lee Hamilton, Bobby Lee Hamilton, Kurley Hamilton, Jessie B.
